The Student Independent Research Intern (SIRI) program is organized to enrich students' academic program by providing an experiential learning opportunity. In order for JPL to make the SIRI commitment to participants, all applicants must meet the following requirements:
Program participation is limited to one-semester. Follow-on opportunities, in other programs, will be presented during the semester training program. Participation in other opportunities is not guaranteed or implied.
Selection for the SIRI program is competitive. Applicants must understand that not every one may be selected. Prior applicants who have not been selected as SIRI participants are encouraged to re-apply.
Students must be willing to participate in weekly training sessions.
Students will be required to make a presentation at the end of the program.
